St. John meets Hipstamatic
A couple of weeks ago I was introduced to an iPhone app called “Hipstamatic“. As a photography enthusiast it did not take much to sell me on purchasing this app. It happened to be the Friday after Thanksgiving and the app was being sold for $0.99 (normally $1.99).
In summary, the app (as it says on its website) “brings back the look, feel, unpredictable beauty, and fun of plastic toy cameras from the past”. So, I thought I’d experiment with it here in St. John in the US Virgin Islands and see what it can do.
Here’s a comparison of a photo taken with the iPhone (3Gs) camera and then one taken with the iPhone camera but using the Hipstamatic app.
