Developing a company’s greatest asset
G’day from Perth, Western Australia. I was invited here by the JWH Group to conduct a workshop with their senior management team. Yesterday I had the wonderful pleasure of speaking to the founder of the company, Julian Walter, and the company’s general managers and executives. About 18 people in total attended the all day program that focused on developing their greatest asset – which was themselves.
As I said to the group yesterday, every effort spent in investing in developing a better version of themselves will naturally see every aspect of their lives improve. The all day workshop was held at a hotel next to Scarborough beach, one of Perth’s famous surf beaches. It was a beautiful spring day in Australia and we had a gorgeous view of the Indian ocean from our venue.
We focused on many areas but based the entire workshop around learning how the mind works and learning to manage and invest energy. We looked at ways to develop a greater control over one’s mind which leads to the ability to control and prevent anxiety and stress. I also taught everyone how to concentrate and practice this during the day. Most entrepreneurs strive to be as efficient as possible in their daily life, especially their work life, but most never consider that developing concentration helps tremendously in this process. This was one area we focused a lot on plus learning how to train those around us to develop concentration as well. I also shared tools and techniques that entrepreneurs can you use to prevent people from draining their energy. Methods to work with negative habit patterns and was to create positive habit patterns, and more.
Really enjoyed working with this interactive group of individuals that were eager to learn. Thank you to all of you at JWH Group that attended the event.
